Project 'A donkey at school '

You're sitting in the classroom and you hear the sound of hooves that gently moves? Nothing to worry about. It's coming to class Ciukino: the donkey becomes TEACHER.
Our staff convinced of the extraordinary effect that the donkey has on children and his positive social impact proposes the project "A Donkey at school ", which is organized according to the following scheme:

1The Donkey and its history
Know and observe our friend with soft fur and long ears, to cuddle and brush. Telling the role of the donkey from ancient times to the present day and, with the help of fairy tales, legends and nursery rhymes, delving into the history of Sicily to (re) discover the function of the donkey for our ancestors...

2Driving school with donkey
First steps in road safety education in order to achieve the "driver of a donkey license". After a theoretical introduction, the children will, in turn, lead the donkeys along a path specifically designed in the schoolyard. All this will, of course, take place without forgetting the basic rules of the road...

3Walking with a donkey
A walk in the company of donkeys on easy trails in the midst of nature. The children will experience an original way of living with nature, with themselves and with their classmates at the side of the donkeys , that on the saddle carrying all that is needed to address the way.

It’s possible to modulate the proposal in the light of special needs and/or requests for the study of some topics covered in school.
